ELIGIBILITY: T-Mobile Sidekick Takes You To The GRAMMY Awards Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes") is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, 18 years of age or older. Void where prohibited. Employees of T-Mobile USA, Inc. ("Sponsor"), and its parent, affiliates and subsidiaries, The Recording Academy, and advertising and promotion agencies, and the immediate family (spouse, parent, child, sibling and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and household members of each, whether or not related, are not eligible to enter or win. Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
DURATION: Sweepstakes begins on 12/15/2008 and ends at 8:59 AM Pacific Time ("PT") on 1/16/2009 ("Sweepstakes Period").
HOW TO ENTER: During the Sweepstakes Period there are two (2) ways to enter: 1. Online (for T-Mobile Sidekick customers only): T-Mobile Sidekick customers can visit www.sidekick.com and follow the directions provided to fully complete and submit the official entry form. Limit one (1) entry per person and per e-mail address via this method. Entries received from a person or e-mail address via this method after the first entry received from that person or e-mail address will be void; 2. One (1) mail-in entry will count as one (1) entry. All mail-in entries must be postmarked by 1/16/2009 and received by 1/23/2009 to be eligible. All mail-in entries must be mailed separately. Bonus Entry: There are two (2) ways for T-Mobile Sidekick customers to earn up to five (5) additional entries: 1. Badge: Follow the directions provided to copy a Sidekick "badge" from www.Sidekick.com and put it on your social networking page (e.g., mySpace page). For every friend that clicks on the badge, you will receive one (1) additional entry. No other use of a Sidekick "badge" by any individual is permitted. 2. Refer a Friend: Follow the directions to provide the unique and valid email addresses of up to five (5) friends, who must be eligible to enter the Sweepstakes. You may only refer persons with whom you have an existing relationship. Each friend will be sent a refer-a-friend email solely notifying them about the Sweepstakes. You will receive one (1) additional entry for each friend who clicks on the link provided in the email. All information must be complete to be eligible. You may not refer a friend more than once. In the event the same friend is referred by more than one individual, the refer-a-friend email via which such friend enters the Sweepstakes will determine which individual will receive such bonus entry. Limit five (5) bonus entries per person and per e-mail address, regardless of method of bonus entry. Bonus entries received from a person or e-mail address after the first five (5) bonus entries received from that person or e-mail address will be void. Limit six (6) entries per person, per email address and per household, regardless of method of entry. Entries received from any person, email address or household in excess of the stated limitation will be void. Entries generated by script, macro, or other automated or mechanical means and entries by any means which subvert the entry process are void. All online entries must be submitted by 8:59 AM PT on 1/16/2009 to be eligible. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.
RANDOM DRAWINGS AND WINNER NOTIFICATION: Five (5) Grand Prize winners and Five (5) First Prize winners will be selected in a random drawing held on or about 1/24/2009 from and among all eligible entries received. Winners will be notified by e-mail or telephone. Odds of winning a prize depend on the total number of eligible entries received for the entire Sweepstakes Period. If any winner is at least 18 but still considered a minor in his/her jurisdiction of residence, Sponsor reserves the right to award the prize in the name of his/her parent or legal guardian who will be responsible for fulfilling all requirements imposed on winners set forth herein. Winners may be required to execute and return an affidavit of eligibility, a liability release, and, where lawful, a publicity release within five (5) business days of date of issuance. Failure to return such documents within the specified time period, the inability to contact a potential winner within a reasonable time period, the return of a prize or prize notification as undeliverable, or failure to comply with these Official Rules may result in forfeiture of the prize and, at Sponsor's sole discretion, the selection of an alternate winner.
PRIZES: Grand Prize (5): A T-Mobile Sidekick (service not included), and a trip for winner and one (1) guest to the 51st Annual GRAMMY Awards. Trip includes round-trip, coach-class air transportation for two (2) from a major U.S. gateway airport nearest winner's residence to Los Angeles, CA (exact dates to be determined by Sponsor), ground transportation to and from airport and hotel, to and from GRAMMY Awards and hotel, one (1) standard room (double occupancy)/two (2) night hotel accommodation, two (2) tickets to attend the 51st Annual GRAMMY Awards in Los Angeles, scheduled to take place on 2/8/09 and a $500 shopping spree (awarded as an American Express Gift Card). Total Approximate Retail Value ("ARV") of each Grand Prize: $4,000.00. Actual value depends on point of departure. Gift Card is subject to certain terms and conditions specified by American Express. First Prize (5) A T-Mobile Sidekick (service not included). Total ARV of each First Prize: $350.00. GRAMMY Awards tickets are subject to terms and conditions specified thereon and/or by The Recording Academy. Seat locations will be determined by Sponsor. Each Grand Prize winner and guest must comply with all venue rules and regulations. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of ticket portion of prize. If any Grand Prize winner resides within a 100-mile radius of Los Angeles, CA, Sponsor reserves the right to provide ground transportation in lieu of air transportation and no compensation or substitution will be provided for the difference in prize value. Travel must be made through Sponsor's agent, on a carrier of Sponsor's choice. Each Grand Prize winner and his/her guest must travel together on the same itinerary. Trip must be taken on dates specified by Sponsor or prize will be forfeited and Sponsor will have no further obligation to such Grand Prize winner. Each guest must be of legal age of majority in his/her jurisdiction of residence unless the child or legal ward of winner and must execute and return a liability release and, where lawful, a publicity release prior to issuance of travel documents. If any guest is the child or legal ward of a Grand Prize winner, Grand Prize winner must execute and return all required documents on behalf of such child or legal ward. Certain travel restrictions may apply. Specific travel dates and arrangements are subject to availability. Grand Prize winners and guests are responsible for obtaining all required travel documents prior to travel. Prizes are awarded "as is" with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied by Sponsor. Winners are responsible for all federal, state and local taxes and all other costs and expenses associated with prize acceptance and use not specified herein as being awarded, including any wireless service plan for the Sidekick portion of prize and, if a Grand Prize winner, additional ground transportation, luggage fees, gratuities, meals and souvenirs. No transfer, substitution or cash equivalent of prizes is permitted by winners. Sponsor will not replace any lost, mutilated, or stolen tickets. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute a prize (or portion thereof) with one of comparable or greater value. In the event the GRAMMY Awards are cancelled, no compensation or substitution will be provided in lieu thereof; however, remainder of prize package will be awarded and Sponsor will have no further obligation to winners. Authorized account subscriber is the natural person who is assigned the e-mail address by the Internet Service Provider (ISP), on-line service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses.
